Buglio in Monte (mt.
577)
Set on a sunny terrace, Buglio in Monte seems to build on the wooded slopes
of Pizzo Mercantelli.
Nature keeps track of time in this small agricultural town surrounded
by chestnut woods and vineyards and history traces still in civil buildings
but also religious: the Basilica of Saints Jerome and most important of
Faithful.
Built in the twelfth century, but the early sixteenth, inside you can
see a table carved wood, painted and gilded masterpiece Valorsa Cipriano.
The walkers will not be disappointed by Buglio starting point for unique
experiences in nature.
From the fact a country road that climbs the side reticulum and winds
through the Pit of Gaggio Primaverta and the valley, crossed the river
and between Villapinta chestnut, hazel and juniper and salt until maggengo
Nanzegolo Oldino.
But there are easy paths, waiting for those who still want to climb up
the mountain pastures of Our Bottom (1249 m), Our Middle (1326 m) and
Our Cima (1415 m).
Two lakes and a church welcome higher, pasture of screen viewing experience
(2103) M, where you can get by taking the paths of the Valley of Sasso
Bisol, Val Masino.
