Bema (mt. 800)
Beautiful and sunny position is located in the solitary Bema.
A surprise for anyone who travels the road in the rugged gorges Bitto in a wilderness, and finds then Bema, admiring the Val Gerola.
The possibilities for excursions surrounded by beautiful unspoiled nature is accompanied by the peace of these places, thanks to the fortunate position, was inhabited already in the Carolingian era, between the ninth and tenth centuries.
Bema is still one of the countries which has retained its typical: in the streets of the village there are the high stone buildings where the outstanding frescoes dating from the fifteenth century.
The church of San Bartolomeo, the seventeenth century, contains paintings, sculptures and sacred vessels while in the San Rocco can see frescoed by G. Gavazzeni.
