Hotel Miramonti is a short walk from the Sasso Remenno, Europe’s biggest monolith, and further on is the Val di Mello Nature Reserve, a protected area offering lovers of the mountains spectacular landscape and views that lift the heart.

The Scetti Taeggi family have run Hotel Miramonti since 1974: three generations devoted to their guests, a family whose “Welcome!” is no stock phrase but comes from the heart and is backed up by solid professionalism and a genuine desire to help.

The Hotel has single and double rooms and special arrangements for small or large families. The rooms have all been recently renovated in a warm Alpine style, with a full range of comforts and mountain view balconies. There’s a lift, bar, TV room, covered terrace and a garden with an area for small kids.

The kitchen offers traditional and local food. Following the recommendations of our Chef and his Staff, you can choose fresh, handmade pasta dishes, followed by game or fish, such as trout from the Masino, and try various Val Masino products, including alpine cheese, cep mushrooms and traditional local recipe cakes and desserts. Washed down, of course, with excellent Valtellina wines.
